His gynaecologist career is dedicated to personalised patient care; keeping it simple, offering honest evidence based advice.
His gynae work received multiple patient service awards from Ministry of Health, Public Service Commission, SPRING SINGAPORE, Singapore Health Services and Straits Times MYB Inaugaral Top Ten Doctors Award.
In 2005, Dr Wee led the Singapore medical relief team in the gynae care of women after the Tsunami in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. Dr Wee Horng Yen was conferred Minister of Health Award.
Dr Wee believes in critical review of the latest innovations and making them available to his patients. He is recognised for his leadership in review of latest advances in O&G; currently serving on the Editorial Board of Singapore Journal of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, the main Singapore journal specialising in gynae care, a position he has held since 2010.
Dr Wee Horng Yen admits patients for surgery and delivery at Mt Elizabeth Hopsital, Mt Elizabeth (NOVENA) Hospital, Mt Alvernia Hospital and Thomson Medical Center.
